A CLOSER LOOK
A workshop or camera location beyond the main building can call for a planned directional connection rather than a general indoor extender. This device lists a directional antenna and several operating modes, so first confirm the endpoint arrangement and clear signal path.Align and test the link at the actual site instead of expecting the quoted 5 km reach in every setting.
Explore the specificationsThe 12 dBi dual-polarization antenna is listed for a focused link.Compare mounting and alignment requirements with the actual path; obstructions and interference can substantially affect the connection.
AP, station and WISP modes provide several listed configurations.Check the compatible peer/router and instructions so the device’s role matches the network you are building.
Four LAN ports are listed for devices at the network point.Confirm port speeds and power arrangements before adding cameras or workstations; the 867Mbps wireless figure is not a wired-throughput guarantee.
No.The claim depends on the actual signal path, alignment and site conditions; obstructions can prevent the link.
Access point, station and WISP modes are stated.
