Choosing your option
Confirm root space and reservoir capacity before choosing a plant. Wick watering does not suit every moisture preference, so check the plant's needs and observe the soil rather than relying on a no-maintenance promise.

Does self-watering mean I never refill it?
No. The reservoir still needs checking and refilling according to conditions.
